Empowered by Extensions: The Latina Behind the Brand

As a young 12 year old Latina girl who struggled with textured hair, I discovered the world of hair extensions. Throughout the years I tried different hair extension methods, hair brands, and hair textures. I was immediately fascinated with how hair can transform your entire look and give you such a boost of confidence. 

At the time, wearing hair extensions was a taboo but I wore them proud. However, I consistently found myself struggling with finding the best match of hair extensions that would suit my natural hair. I wanted to find a method that wouldn’t damage my hair and felt and looked natural. With no luck, I still had hope that I would find the best hair extensions for textured hair and continued my journey with hair extensions. 

My personal experiences led me to decide that I was going to devote myself to helping others find their perfect hair match. In 2016 The Room Hair Extensions was born, a place where every hair type is represented.
